Primrose Community Health Organization in partnership with Digital Opportunity Trust and Mastercard Foundation officially introduced the Going Beyond Project on the 20th of March, 2026 in Kafue District.

The convening brought together a diverse group of stakeholders across sectors, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing inclusive economic opportunities for young people. This collective engagement underscores the critical role of multi-stakeholder collaboration in delivering sustainable, scalable impact.

Going Beyond is a youth-centered, community-driven initiative designed to equip young people particularly young women, with digital, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills to participate meaningfully in the evolving economy. Through a peer-led delivery model, the project builds local capacity by positioning youth not only as beneficiaries, but as facilitators, mentors, and drivers of change within their communities.

A central pillar of the project is its deliberate focus on inclusion, ensuring that young women and other marginalized groups have equitable access to skills development, enterprise support, and leadership opportunities. This approach is expected to generate multiplier effects at household and community levels, strengthening resilience and promoting inclusive growth.

Aligned with Primrose Community Health Organization broader mission, the project will contribute to building resilient, economically empowered communities through locally grounded, capacity-driven approaches that address structural inequalities. As an implementation partner, our organization remains committed to delivering high-impact programming while fostering strategic partnerships with government, private sector actors, and community institutions to ensure long-term sustainability and local ownership.

The Going Beyond Project represents more than a program, it is a strategic investment in youth agency, gender equality, and sustainable livelihoods, laying the foundation for inclusive and lasting development.
