Recognizing her incredible potential, Primrose Community Health Organisation, with support from Masana wa Afrika (ELMA), empowered Mebo's venture by providing modern welding and grinding machines.
This strategic investment has paid off tremendously, supercharging Mebo's production capacity. She can now craft door and window frames more efficiently, dramatically increasing her output. This new efficiency has directly boosted her income, allowing her to quickly sell over Ten door frames for a total of ZMK 8,000. With a clear vision for growth, Mable has wisely reinvested ZMK 3,000 of her earnings back into her business to procure more fabrication materials, ensuring its sustainability and expansion.
The success of Mable's workshop has had a profound and direct impact on her household income, enabling her to better support her family's needs, build a brighter future for herself and her loved ones. Despite facing challenges like electricity load shedding, Mable remains fiercely committed to her craft.
